Social Media Intern

MacFarland Painting is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our team on a part-time basis. This internship is perfect for a college student who is passionate about social media, marketing, and content creation. If you enjoy capturing great content and want hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:
- Drive to various job sites to capture high-quality photos and videos of our painting projects, including interiors, exteriors, and specialized services like staircase remodeling and cabinet painting.

- Create engaging and visually appealing content for our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

- Edit videos and photos to produce polished and professional content that aligns with our brand image.

- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.

- Monitor and respond to social media comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute marketing campaigns and promotions.

- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.

- Assist with other marketing tasks and projects as needed.


Qualifications:

- Proficiency in social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

- Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to create content that resonates with our audience.

- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for traveling to job sites.

- Familiarity with social media analytics tools is a plus.

- Currently enrolled in college, studying marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
